Garrett, I'm so proud of you! You're eating raisins! And you're a Golden snob like me, too!

My family and I are on a similar plight! It is more of a general clean out of our brains, rather than our pantry, though. I did clean out our (gluttonously overstocked) pantry last month, but our food issues ran deeper than that. Especially since our 2 year old is getting more and more observant....how can we inflict our bad habits on him? We are trying a food personality makeover :) See http://meghandriggersphotography.blogspot.com/2010/06/mcdonalds-i-think-we-should-see-other.html if you have a sec. PS....Love, Love, Love your blog :) Meghan

Cooking to Eat Like a Rabbit

Cooking to eat like a rabbit...hmm... how about getting carnivores to start their testing days like rabbits? Some of my students are taking their state reading tests tomorrow morning and my fellow teachers and I thought it would be nice to make some goodie bags with sweet notes in them to inspire them for the day. I couldn't manage buying any junk cause I'm a grass-eater like the rabbits. All my students know this, but they think I'm crazy. I made them breakfasts with blueberries, carrots, colby/monterrey jack string cheese, and high-fructose-corn-syrup-free granola bars. It cost a pretty penny, but I knew I couldn't feed them anything but natural stuff and feel like a good "mama" to them. We'll see who actually eats it!

Thanks for enjoying our cooking and playing so much. I held off on telling the story until I had these pictures, but it's more fun to just link to your blog post! http://eatlikearabbit.net/2010/06/01/eat-rabbit-cobblestone-rue-blog-0
